NJ for Warner Has First Meeting
The Draft Mark Warner organization in New Jersey had its first meeting in Monroe Township, New Jersey. The event was well attended with approximately 30 people there. We reviewed Mark Warner's accomplishments with education, and balancing a budget in his home state of Virginia while he was Governor.
A number of those in attendance provided their e-mails so they could stay informed of the progress of the Mark Warner movement in New Jersey and nationwide. The Draft Mark Warner movement will be looking to hold similar meetings throughout the state to tell voters about what Mark Warner has done and about what Mark Warner will do as President.
Remember we will be at the Democratic Conference in Atlantic City on the 7 through 9 of September. Additionally, we will be at Red Bank on the 10th. We are still looking for volunteers for all of these events.
FUNDING UPDATE
We have raised over $700 for the Democratic Conference in Atlantic City. We need $300 more to reach our goal. We're hoping a few donors will come forward to get us over the top. Thanks to all those who have contributed. Your hard earned donations are greatly appreciated.
